welcome to Redemption Kids!

We believe that parents are called to be the primary spiritual leaders of their children and so we strive to support them however we can. Parents are free to bring their children into the worship service, or drop them off in Redemption Kids – a safe, fun, bible-centered environment for children on Sunday mornings.

We currently have two classes for our children divided on these ages:

  • Nursery (ages 0-5)

  • Elementary (ages 6-11)

Everything done in Redemption Kids is an all out effort to connect them to Jesus for life change. Our desire is that our kids would grow up to love Jesus and the Gospel message. From start to finish, we strive to make your child's time with us a great experience by providing safe, age-appropriate environments where boys and girls discover the big picture of God's redemptive story.

Planning To Visit?

To ensure a smooth Redemption Kids check-in on your first visit, arrive a couple minutes early and go to our New Families/Check-In table. Our Redemption Kids Director will be happy to assist you in registering your family in our secure check-in program, answering any questions you might have, and directing you to your classroom.   • All of our volunteers are interviewed, background checked, and trained to Redemption Church’s safety standards. According to these standards, only female volunteers are allowed to help with diaper changes and bathroom visits, where the door is propped open. There is also a two adult volunteer minimum in every classroom.

  • Children and volunteers must be symptom free for 24 hours before being checked in. All classrooms are thoroughly sanitized after each service. Hand sanitizer is available in each classroom and hand washing is encouraged throughout the day.

  • Our elementary class is going through an amazing curriculum called The Gospel Project and we also make some adaptations of these classes for our preschoolers. Every week we will learn a new story, that is part of God’s amazing story, always pointing back to Jesus, and on the fourth Sunday of every month we will have R/Kids Jam, a time to worship God through fellowship and music.

I was born and raised in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. I have been married to the love of my life Josué López since 2001. We love our family at R/Mesa and we love keeping families together, that is one of the reasons we have bilingual services. Our children Misael and Michelle serve God through music by being part of the worship band since they were 9 years old. It is my blessing to be part of women's ministry and to have the opportunity to learn from the Word of God with my sisters in Christ. I am also passionate about providing whatever it takes to plant the seed of the Gospel in the heart of every child who visits our classes, and encourage every teacher and volunteer to work with this same mission every Sunday. We love our children and our volunteers, and we love welcoming new families into our family.
